If you’re going to be lonely, be positively lonely. Take care of yourself- eat healthy, exercise, wear sunscreen with zinc or titanium, sing, laugh. Think positive. Turn your loneliness into a hit single, an academy award-winning screenplay, a novel, a dance. Volunteer. Find people less fortunate than you are and serve them with humility. Read to old people- read to kids! Read! Read! Read! Write. Write something inspiring. Grow some food. Build a house with Habitat for Humanity. Whatever you do, don’t sulk. Don’t get depressed. If you need help, talk to a professional. Don’t expect your ex to take responsibility- take responsibility for yourself. Be content with your loneliness. Better yet, be positively lonely.
